They were special at Christnastime in our house when I was a kid. I picked these out of the hard candy mix. These measure up to my memories. That's a high bar. Great taste. But now that I'm in my 70s my teeth aren't as good as they were when I was 10 and younger. That slows me down because I'm afraid I'll break teeth so I must suck to get to that yummy jelly stuff in the middle.They are good candies, but not the same as when I would get them years ago
