I’m writing this review for the Spenco Women's Yumi Candy Stripe Sandal under my husband’s prime account.Great color, very comfortable and stays put on my feet. It may feel weird at first especially the arch bump but it will relax and conform to your feet. I have many pairs in different colors. I highly recommend these. Half sizes should go up to nearest full size for a perfect fit.Important to differentiate between the different stylesThis original Yumi style is different from two later versions: Yumi 2 and Inspiration. These two have solid colored outer soles with no red and blue colors. See photo. Some reviewers think they are fake but I believe they are authentic since they are sold at reputable online footwear retailers. What I disliked about Yumi 2 and Inspiration: longer thong straps (too loose), memory foam cushioning (too bouncy), slicker footbed material (feels slippery) and thicker footbed and sole (feels clunky). These attributes make my feet slide around the footbed making me feel unsteady. Reviews on Amazon and QVC bear me out. I returned both. The Yumi2 is not always identified as such. To tell the difference: Yumi 2 and Inspiration have solid colored outer sole bottoms with no blue and red colors. See photo. The Inspiration has words on the footbed. If unsure when purchasing, ask the seller to send you a picture of the outer sole. Look for the original Yumi with blue and red colors on the soles.I am diabetic and developed a blister on my little toe from wearing cheap slippers this winter. It refused to heal as long as I was wearing any kind of shoe. I love my Spenco slippers, so I decided to take a risk and get these flip flops. I have plantar fasciitis and high arches. I cannot wear flat flip flops, so I decided to look at the Spencos. I happened on these, and they were relatively inexpensive for Spencos (~$35). They had good reviews, so I took a chance. I've been wearing them for a little over a week, and I really like them. At first, the imprint on the heel of the shoe bothered me, but after about two days, I guess I wore it down. They are very comfortable and very supportive. Kind of like wearing a tennis shoe except it's a flip flop which is exactly what I was looking for. I also think they are cute and will be great for the summer. I got the black and I love the detailing such as the black and white striped fabric on the leather strap and the turquois blue toe strap. I wish they had more colors in my size, because I would definitely buy more! They run true to size. I wear a 9, and the size 9 fits perfectly.Wonderful arch support, and super cute. This has cured my plantar fasciitis before. I love the color of these. I will buy again and again. For some reason these candles were too tight for my foot. Always wear a 7, but will go up a size because of straps......This is my 4th pair of Spenco sandals/flip flops. I also purchased a pair for my husband and father. These shoes are great for people with arch support problems. I’ve purchased from other brands but these over and over again feel the best. I owned Vionic’s for some time but got rid of them all after switching to the Spenco brand. Vionic’s circles on the footbed tear our feet up but the Spenco smoother brand doesn’t do that. Spenco is also lighter in weight. They wash easily and nicely.I look forward to more styles and colors to come.I love these flip flops. They run a little large. I normally wear a 7 and in these I wear a 6. They last forever and are the most comfortable flip flops you will ever wear.I love these sandals. They fit me right. I will be buying more of theseI usually wear 8 1/2 in women’s and I bought a 9 in these shoes—they fit great. I love the firm sole and arch support. Exactly what I was looking for to wear on our hardwood floors.Pas aimé du tout. Qualité chipette. Je porte71/2 et le 8 était trop large et trop grande.I have plantar fasciitis and I were these shoes around the house and as sandalsVery comfortableTres confortableLove the orthotic sole. Use these for an indoor sandle.
