I bought these sandals in black a year ago, and am completely satisfied with them. They feel so good on that I wear them almost everywhere - and they're still going strong. When I get home from work, I can't wait to get out of my high heels and slip my feet into what I call my "Ahhhhhhh" sandals. I bought them because I started suffering from a lot of lower back pain and also my feet hurt, with pain in my heels and soreness in my relatively flat arches. I figured my cheap, rubber flip-flops with zero arch support that I used to wear whenever I was at home were to blame. I saw the tone-ups ad on cable and promptly started researching it on the net. After visiting the skechers website and reading the product description (which said that the tone ups help with proper posture) as well as after reading several reviews from other happy purchasers on Amazon.com, I decided to buy them and since I've been wearing them, my lower back pain has gone and my feet no longer hurt. After a year of wearing them constantly, the only thing that's happened to them is that I believe they may be a little more compressed than when I first got them. But I think they've held up great, and I'm planning to buy another pair soon - most probably in brown. Would DEFINITELY recommend them.I originally ordered these in a 7 as I had read other reviews that they ran big but had to return them for an 8. The first thing I noticed when I opened the packaging box was that the shoe box was for another type of Skechers tennis shoes. When I opened that box I was glad to see that I had in fact received the correct sandals. The 8 fits fine except that the part that goes between my toes is set more towards the back of the shoe than other flip flops I own. It does leave a lot of the sandal above my toes but it doesn't seem to cause any tripping. I've been wearing these now for a couple of hours and don't have any discomfort. They are also very cushy. I'm hoping with more wear that they continue to be comfortable.I am not sorry I bought these in the least. They are VERY comfortable. They are true to size. I wear a 7 and bought a 7. I could have used a 7.5 because my heel is right at the back of the sandal but it does not look odd at all. The 7.5 probably would have been too big. I don't feel a whole lot of "workout" with these like I do with the Skeckers shape-ups but I love them. I'm gonna buy more for the sheer comfort.Since I bought these I wear them all the time, everyday. I wear them in the house, to work and to go shopping. They are so comfortable. They support my arches so I'm not walking on the inside of my foot. They are so cushy that I feel I am walking on a cloud. They are the best thing that could have happened to a flip flop. I highly recommend these sandals. Not only do they work you legs and buttocks but they look stylish as well. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!!!!!These sandals are true to size except for the toe area like what others say about it...it's long. But it's not that obvious so I don't really mind. It's very comfortable though just be careful not to get scratched by those sequins by the inner side when you walk quickly. It once brushed against my ankle and it bled! Didn't believe that happened, but it did! Overall, a nice dressy pair of sandals for summer.these are awesome. I LOVE only wearing sandals, but in my older age, I don't like having my feet be so dirty at the end of the day (i do a lot of city walking). Sooooo, this spring I'm looking to get toe socks so I can wear them again. They hold their shape well.Love these fit flops:)Comfortable and stylish. Am not sure if it has any slimming effects as advertised but I wear it alot for general walking.I always wear size 6 skechers trainers, then when shape-ups came out size 6 there too, I have 3 pairs of shape-ups trainers and dont have any problems with sizing. After seeing other reviews I purchased these in black last year in a size 5 and I'm glad I did, although my heel is right at the back of the shoe i have about 1cm of shoe at the top past my toe, so a bigger size would have looked silly. I have had no problems with the toe post and last summer wore them all day everyday and didn't get any redness, sores or rubbing anywhere. I cannot get across to you how comfortable these tone ups are and are not like flip flops at all, it is like walking on air. I love them so much I have bought the silver pair as indoor slippers for the summer, these feel like they will need working in more than the black pair, they seem stiffer. I did think the black ones would not last the season but they have done. Also to me in the picture the silver ones look like the sole is white but mine are actually light grey. Fantastic shoes, don't um and err get them!Okay, so any kind of shoe tends to disagree with my feet in the heat of summer - but ouch! Before these I've never had a pair of sandals that rubbed a blister between my big toe and the one next to it and after a couple of hours it was painful to walk and my feet actually felt bruised at the end of the day.I've given them a three as I am going to try them again and see if it was teething troubles (taking a spare change of shoes with me!).They look nice, but other reviewers are correct - they are big. You do need to order your usual size for the positioning of the thong, but they do look very long at the end - do the women of the US have longer toes than us Brits? These might be good shoes - I don't know yet, but £35 is quite a lot for what may prove to be an unwearable pair of shoes.I ordered both my normal size (4) and a smaller size (3) as it said these come up big. I found the 3 just a bit small as my heel was right on the end of the back. The toe of the 3 looked exactly the same as the 4 - there is a bit room. The 4 was fine and I returned the 3.On my first wear I got some blisters but that always happens with me and new shoes. Other than that they were extremely comfortable and absorb shock nicely (I have a bad back)! My mum bought the Fitflop version of these but I couldn't afford those, having tried on both I can't tell much of a difference, especially looks wise! They seem to do the same job workout wise as my MBTs so I'm happy on that front!Reccommended!Well I've been wearing these for nearly a month now and after the initial getting used to them I've found them really comfortable.Went for 2.5 mile walk the other night in them - no problems at all.Not sure yet of the tone up benefits but I'm sure there has to be some I certainly know I'm walking differently and it's made me more conscious of how I walk when wearing every day shoes. There have been a few comments made about sizing, I usually take a size 6 1/2 UK size and I ordered a 6 in these and they are spot on.They aren't the most elegant of footwear and as I have very narrow feet they do appear a bit 'boat like' around my toes.Having said that I would easily buy another pair.Re. Sketchers Tone Ups - Candy Bar Sandal.I have bought a pair in Silver which have arrived today. Having worn them for a few hours, I am SO delighted with them I have bought another pair in black. They are so comfortable and slip on one's feet so easily one is hardly aware of wearing anything at all. This design with sequins bar is dressy enough for any occasion or fine as a casual sandal.I agree with other's that there is plenty of toe room but I feel the sizing is accurate for me.
