reed's crystallized ginger is like eating candy and aids digestion. i like it, but it is too expensive, having almost doubled in price over the last several years. re category "warmth," i do not understand what this category entails and could not judge. re "thickness," i gave it 3 stars because the ginger pieces are a bit thick; if pieces were just a fraction smaller, they would be perfect.
