The last time I had the barley sugar candy reminiscent of my childhood was while on a trip to Ireland. The brand was Fox's Barley Sugar. By the time I got home from my trip, the company had discontinued the product, and I've been searching for good Barley Sugar Candy ever since.This wasn't it. I imagine this is a traditional Italian Barley candy that might have more appeal if you're raised with the flavor. Burnt sugar is an ingredient, and that overwhelms the taste of barley. Don't get me wrong. I ate all 2.2 lbs, but I didn't enjoy it.I continue my quest.
