They are slightly smaller/differently shaped than the runts you get from the box at the store, but I think they taste just about the same or possibly better (maybe slightly sweeter?)As others have stated it tastes a little different from banana runs but close enough if you're not too discriminating. I ate them probably a 1/4 at a time I love them so much. But, as others have also mentioned, perhaps every 1/3 pound I'd get a runt that tasted like vomit. As if some flavoring chemical had saturated the candy to the core. It would leave such an acride taste in mouth, I'd tell myself, "NO MORE BANANA CANDY!" Then the next day I'd be back again. Lol. So, a great value but that one in a thousand rotten banana candy really makes me leary at getting this again. I may try another brand that doesn't report that foul errant banana.
