Everybody I've shared these with has agreed: the regular strawberry flavor in the generic bulk bags tastes so much better. The generic one tastes like a spoonful of strawberry preserves. It tastes much more authentic. These are still good, but i think they got it one backwards with these 2. I've really enjoyed several of the other more niche flavor offerings, but this one was kinda a let-down & just doesn't live up to the reputation or pricetag. Good. But nowhere near $7 good.Way better than the American version Hi-Chew product. The flavor is phenomenal. The consistency is a bit like Laffy Taffy, and you can either chew it or let it just melt in your mouth over time. Also, the flavor lasts well after you've finished the candy, but not in that weird aftertaste way where it only slightly tastes like the thing you ate; I mention this because I know I'm not the only person that is bothered by aftertastes lol, so for all others like me, this one is fine, it still tastes like if you still had the candy in your mouth. Shipping takes a while, but it's worth it in my opinion. This is good candy. I only wish I could get it on a regular base at this reasonable price. So delicious better than the ones we have available in America.Love these candiesBest candy everHi-Chews are delicious!I got hooked on these in Hong Kong where my American candy choices were Starburst and Skittles, both sugar rushes of the extreme sort. This candy is not as sweet as those, but a bit sweeter than most Asian candy (many of my Chinese friends find it too sweet for their taste, but many of my American friends say it is not sweet enough). I kind of like the middle ground, trying to cut back on my sugars.
