Ok, to start with , I did not buy this top to wear with this skirt. I just happened to be wearing it when it came in lol. Right away when I opened the package I was nervous , simply because it truly is just one long silky scarf basically. And I am small chested. I wear a 32C but I'm also 5'10" so a 32c on a girl like me is not the same looking as a 32c on a skinny petite 4'11" lol. Anyway.I noticed the openings at the ends of the "top" . Not quite sure what they are for, maybe for wearing it different ways? Probably, but what I did was take black pads that I had taken out of a bikini top (I never keep the padding in any of them) and slipped them in here and adjusted them to help it keep its width in the front basically the area that actually covers my breast. I tried it pretty right, like....squished my boobs together tight because it does loosen immediately because of the fabric. So it ends up being the perfect tightness I guess you could say. I then took the one side of the fabric that was on the top of the knot and slipped it behind and underneath the knot so it looked better. There's a close up photo to show.It does need adjusting quite frequently unless you have body tape. And it does nothing flattering for my actual breast but it doesn't make them look bad either? Just really really small. Which.... they do not normally look or are. But overall I really love this top. I think it is so cute and summery and sexy and with the right bottoms( bobo maxi skirt?!) And outfit it would be so perfect. And it's so cheap to. The fabric its self does not feel cheap its thick and no way see through and very smooth and soft.If you're unsure I say just do it and try a few different ways to see what works for you and if you dont like it return. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Haha. I'm glad I bought it and even though my fiance hates it and says it's a scrap of fabric left over, I'm keeping it.
